NHL GROUP OVERVIEW
The NHL Group was founded by the Boyer Family in 1971 with the launch of National Hardware a small retail store to supply the demands of the growing construction industry. Over the ensuing years the company has grown and expanded with the opening of additional locations and is today reconized as Guyana’s leading Retailers and Wholesalers of Building Materials and Hardware. In the process the company expanded into offering to become exclusive Distributors for major brands and ventured into establishing Manufacturing Enterprises to supply Aluminum Windows & Doors, Concrete Products and Pavers among others.
With a strong presence in sourcing and manufacturing products for the construction industry, the Group expanded into Real Estate Development with the launch of Demerara Estates Ltd – A luxury Gated Community in the suburbs of Georgetown, Guyana’s Capital City.
With the discovery of Oil in Commercial Deposits offshore Guyana in 2015, the NHL Group has strategically positioned itsself by establishing Guyana Oil and Gas Support Services as a service provider in this important and emerging sector. This company has since won a number of lucrative and strategic service contracts with key stakeholders.

National Hardware Ltd (NHL) is a leading hardware merchant in Guyana operating three major retail and five warehousing depots. It wholesales and retails construction hardware and general merchandise to the general public as well as over one hundred smaller hardware outlets. National Hardware is the sole authorized distributer of Argos Cement, Berger Paints, Prescott Tools, Lef Ceramics and JAV Vehicles amongst other products & brands. National Hardware is a member of the internationally recognized ‘Do it Best’ Co-op enabling them to deliver a long-standing history of strength and stability interlinked with industry-leading efficiency.
